Tips for gorgeous hair

Everyone dreams to have beatiful, healthy hair. Here you can find some tips that will help you acheive that goal.

There are three main hair types:

  • oily hair
  • normal hair
  • dry hair

If you have OILY HAIR...

With oily hair, you should wash them daily using gentle shampoo with formulas that stabilize sebum secretion. Some people like to use simply very gentle shampooes for everyday use.

If you need hair conditioner, put it ONLY on ends. Otherwise it could make your hair seem flabby and not fresh soon after washing. Forget about frequent brushing your hair during the day. It spreads and distributes hair's natural oils unnecessarily.


if you have NORMAL HAIR...

... you are lucky :) just try to maintain them in a good shape by using your favourite haircare products.

In case of DRY HAIR...

...Wash your hair with a moisturizing shampoo (often called Dry Hair Formula). This type of shampoo will provide extra moisture that will protect your hair. Try to avoid using hot blow dryer. If you have to blow dry your hair (for example: because it is cold outside), remember not to dry your hair when it is dripping wet. Towel off first! Stop blow drying when you hair is dry to minimize damaging effect of hot air. To lock in shine, it's a good tip to finish with a blast of cold air.

How to deal with split ends?

Unfortunately, the only solution is to cut off the split end.

Some people trim the split ends themselves, but if you are not sure if do-it-yourself is the best way for you, go to a professional hair parlor. A professional hairdesser will be able to light cut your split ends quickly and without damaging your hairstyle.

How to deal with hair loss?

There are few general rules that can help you treat hair loss problem:

  • try to eat only healty food, that is rich of natural mineral substances and vitamins, that will help your hair grow
  • reduce stress and try not to worry about natural hair loss (worries can only worsen the situation ;-)
  • avoid smoking and drinking (in general - healthy lifestyle helps a lot)
  • use good quality hair care products
  • you could try also some medical treatment for temporary hair loss - but you should ask a professional to help you chose one suitable for you before buying it.

Hair loss can be cased not only by stress or unhealthy lifestyle, but also by some diseases. If you feel that your hair loss is excessive, you should go to a doctor that you trust to find the cause and a proper remedy.
